Stuart Gibson, Head of E-Commerce
International Wealth Management

Stuart Gibson is Head of E-Commerce at FirstRand International Wealth Management Holdings Limited (FRIWM), which includes Ashburton Investment Managers and RMB International (CI) Limited. Stuart is responsible for the Group's global e-business strategy. He is an expert in E-Commerce and digital marketing with over 24 years of management experience in strategic marketing, relationship marketing, IT strategy and e-business. Prior to joining Ashburton in March 2001, Stuart was Head of Information Systems Strategy at Mourant, an offshore law firm and private wealth service company. Stuart spent over 7 years in the Middle East in strategic marketing management and IT. He attended Manchester Business School and gained the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (DipM). Stuart holds a Masters degree in Marketing (MSc) gained at Glamorgan Business School, University of Glamorgan with his thesis focusing on relationship marketing in private banking and the internet. He is currently completing a PhD in Marketing at the University of Glamorgan. Stuart is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management (FCMI), a Member of The Institute of Direct Marketing (M IDM), a Member of the Academy of Marketing (MAM) and has been a Chartered Marketer for the past eight years since 2000.
